1. Who We Are

A PERSON SERVICES PTY LTD ("we", "WE CLEANER") operates the WE CLEANER platform, a professional cleaner registration and work record system for the Wollongong and Illawarra region. We are subject to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in relation to the personal information we collect and handle.

2. What We Collect (APP 3)

We collect the following categories of personal information:

Identity information: Full name, date of birth (optional), language preference
Contact details: Email address, mobile phone number, home suburb
Work information: Past employer names, site names and addresses, employment type, working hours, hourly rates, duties performed
Reference contacts: Names and contact details of past supervisors or managers (collected only with your confirmation of their consent)
Location preference: Your suburb and preferred cluster area
Right to work status: Your visa or residency status for employment eligibility purposes

3. How We Collect It (APP 5)

We collect personal information directly from you through the WE CLEANER registration form, work history submission forms, and any subsequent communications. At the time of collection, we notify you of the purpose of collection through this policy and the Collection Notice presented during registration.

4. Why We Collect It (APP 6)

We use your information for the following purposes:

Creating and maintaining your cleaner work card
Verifying your professional background and employment history
Deriving anonymised market intelligence about commercial cleaning sites, rates, and company activity (internal use only)
Matching you with commercial cleaning opportunities (Phase 2 — FM managers and clients) with your consent
Sending you platform notifications and opportunity alerts where you have consented to receive them

We will not use or disclose your personal information for purposes other than those listed above without your consent, unless required by law.

5. Who We Share It With (APP 6)

We do not sell your personal information. In Phase 1 (current period), your profile information is not shared with external parties. In Phase 2, with your explicit consent, your work card profile may be made visible to verified FM managers, cleaning companies, and commercial clients who engage with the WE CLEANER platform.

Referee contacts are never shared, contacted, or disclosed to any third party without your explicit, specific confirmation at the time of submission.

6. Data Security (APP 11)

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, and disclosure. This includes encryption of data in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. When we no longer require your information for any lawful purpose, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.

7. Your Rights (APP 12, APP 13)

You have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
Request deletion of your account and associated data
Withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time
Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC)

8. Marketing Communications (Spam Act 2003)

We only send marketing messages, including SMS and email notifications, to individuals who have given their express consent during registration. Every marketing message includes an unsubscribe option. We keep a record of consent including the time, method, and content of consent.

If you believe we have handled your personal information in a way that does not comply with the Australian Privacy Principles, please contact us first at admin@wecleaner.com.au. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the OAIC at www.oaic.gov.au.
